Rochers sans les arbres
(Welcome Eighty Trois !)

Feutre pinceau, encre, crayons de couleur. 14 x 20 cm (septembre 2011).
Ink, felt pen, colored pencils, 5.5 x 7.8 in.

After these farewells, it might be time to move! So, here is one of the first sketches after the great migration: some rocks on the spot and on the creek .
I just realize it: the figure almost illegible, so much embedded in the rocks that it looks like a murder in the creek, is probably and unconsciously inspired by this painting (Franche liberté, the fourth one in the fourth gallery). Yes, look better, there is a bather in the background. And while you're there, stroll through the new website of the painter: she is a friend and she has a lot of talent.

To say the truth, the first of the Welcome Eighty Trois series is this one, drawn from the terrace of a cafe on the most beautiful square in Toulon . Not my best effort, we do agree, no matter what the waitress had said – which was charming, but don't say I've told you...
