Rochers sans les arbres
(Welcome Eighty Trois !)

Feutre pinceau, encre, crayons de couleur. 14 x 20 cm (septembre 2011).
Ink, felt pen, colored pencils, 5.5 x 7.8 in.

After these farewells, it might be time to move! So, here is one of the first sketches after the great migration: some rocks on the spot and on the creek .
I just realize it: the figure almost illegible, so much embedded in the rocks that it looks like a murder in the creek, is probably and unconsciously inspired by this painting (Franche liberté, the fourth one in the fourth gallery). Yes, look better, there is a bather in the background. And while you're there, stroll through the new website of the painter: she is a friend and she has a lot of talent.

Feutre pinceau, encre, crayons de couleur, 20 x 14 cm chaque (août 2011).
Ink, felt pen, colored pencils, 7.8 x 5.5 in each.

Nostalgie ? Pas forcément… Juste un entre-deux.

Quick sketches of a last walk  in the mysterious Fontainebleau forest. Felt brush on the spot, colors after, instead of cleaning the mushrooms I am never able to find – cook and eat them is another story…
Nostalgia? Not sure… Just an undefined moment.

Bye Bye Seventy Sept (II)

Graphite. 14 x 18 cm, 5.5 x 7 in (avril 2007).

A generation or so in Seine-et-Marne, from lair to lair. Sketch of the last one before the South Rush

Bye Bye Seventy Sept…

Graphite. 21 x 15 cm, 8.3 x 6 in (janvier 2007).

Long silence, curtain down, curtain up: after more than 20 years in Seine-et-Marne around Paris, we migrate to the South. To be continued…
