Allez, pour me faire pardonner mes absences, je vous révèle le secret le mieux gardé du sentier littoral entre Bandol et Saint-Cyr : la Galère ▼. Appellation officielle, mais tout le monde ici l’appelle le sous-marin.
J’en profite pour vous souhaiter, avec beaucoup de retard, une très belle année !

To be forgiven for my silences, I reveal the best kept secret of the coastal path between Bandol and Saint-Cyr: la Galère (the Galley) ▼. Official name, but everyone here calls this island the submarine.

The Flying Dutchman : Robert Plant

Peu de posts, pas beaucoup de peinture non plus, soyons franc : c'est un tantinet chargé ici. Mais je n'allais tout de même pas laisser passer les fêtes sans sacrifier à la tradition – ma tradition – des musiciens barbus en guise de père Noël. Donc, très vite fait d'après une photo récente, voici Robert Plant en capitaine de vaisseau fantôme. Hollandais Volant, Flying Dutchman, Fliegende Holländer… ça ne le change pas beaucoup de son Led Zeppelin mythique ! Je ne l'avais pas vraiment prévu comme ça, et j'y reviendrais peut-être l'an prochain. En attendant, joyeux Noël à tous !

No recent post, neither new paints, let's be honest: not enough time. But I didn't want to let the year slip away without sacrificing tradition - my tradition - of bearded musicians as Santa Claus. So here you are: Robert Plant in captain of a ghost ship. Flying Dutchman, Vaisseau Fantôme, Fliegende Holländer... not far away from legendary Led Zeppelin! I had not really planned that way, and I'll maybe come back to this subject next year. In the meantime, Merry Christmas to all!

Après un nombre impressionnant de ratages – je vous passe les détails – celui-là, enfin. La colline du Gros Cerveau ▼, ça s'appelle, juste en face de notre terrasse. Plus Ollioules que Skyline – et Gros Cerveau ne veut pas dire non plus que j'ai pris la grosse tête.
